She and these are beautiful!
I was lucky enough to attend the Film Is Not Dead workshop with my business partner Nicole. Jonathan Canlas was our teacher, and we spent three days immersed in all things film photography. A month later, I’m still trying to process everything I learned. I feel a need to deconstruct everything I know and have learned about myself as a photographer and start again from scratch. I am filled with a desire to grow, to learn, to be better. ”Inspired” doesn’t even begin to cover it. I’ll post some of the images I took during this workshop. I look at them and see all the things I need to do to improve, and all of the distance before me… but that makes me happy. Thank you, Jon, for everything.

I love how you captured her shy side and at the same time captured her confidence in herself.
Laura is a mother of two. Her kids are 3 and 1. She lives out in the country with her husband, the aforementioned little ones and a dog. She is also a trained physical therapist and one of my close friends. She is one of the kindest, most fun and delightful gals you could meet. It was my honor to make these images of her for my personal project.
