October Rain Photography {life on film}

Jen is someone I’ve wanted to photograph for a while.  I don’t know her well personally, but I see her around town a lot.  She’s friends with a lot of my friends, and her kids are close in age to mine.  She is a college professor, and a triathlete.  She has always struck me as a person with an aura of strength about her. I am delighted that I got the chance to make her acquaintance, and to make these images.   From the outside looking in, I see strength and softness.  I see confidence mingled with vulnerability.  I see a unique, interesting, beautiful woman.  I hope I conveyed that in these photographs.
